The podiatric consultation/care/device unit deals with patients of all ages (children, adults, the elderly). It is designed to train students in professional situations and cannot replace the services and treatment provided by qualified podiatrists.
The services offered encompass podiatric diagnoses-analyses, video-based or baropodometrical gait analysis (designed to quantify and measure pressure-related anomalies), and treatment of static (architectural) and dermatological disorders of the feet and lower limbs.
The School is actively involved in public health campaigns via the systematic detection of at-risk feet (diabetes, ischaemic disorders, rheumatological ailments). It informs and educates the patients concerned.
